The year is 2019. All three Potter children and their Weasley cousins are now Hogwarts students but aside from following their adventures, the RPG's plot also incorporates characters from crossover worlds such as Little Women, The Virgin Suicides, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Dexter, True Blood, Weeds, Skins, 10 Things and many more. Prior knowledge of the crossover books and shows is unnecessary, as they are explained in our Crossover Characters Guide. Crossover characters can simply be treated like Original Characters by roleplayers who are unfamiliar with their personalities. All members need is a love for the Harry Potter universe, intermediate to advanced writing skills, a good attitude, and a willingness to integrate themselves into the RPG's tight-knit, friendly community.

So I'll be gone from Tuesday 28 December lunch-time AEST 'til late afternoon Saturday 2 January. I will probably take my laptop to Adelaide with me, as I'm booked into a resort and imagine that I'll be on my own at nighttime in the room... unless something shifty happens. But I doubt it. So yeah. Elixia has done a great job of mentioning it, since I've been... too busy to do so myself! Basically right now I'm working two jobs, and NORMALLY these two jobs kind of naturally work side by side with one another, allowing me enough free time to do stuff. Unfortunately, with Christmas being... right next door, I've been working days that go from 8:30 AM to 11:15 PM, sooooo in turn, have not been around here much. For this week, today is my last "busy" day, but next week I'll be fairly unavailable for Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (though fortunately with Thurs being New Year's Eve, I will be home a bit earlier). I really appreciate everyone's patience! It's far from ideal, but y'know... doin' what a I gotta do to pay the stupid rent, hehe. If you're waiting on me to post or respond to plot ideas, that will be done TOMORROW, if all goes well (Thursday, Dec. 24th), or at least shortly after. I've been making notes of plots that have been brought up, and while I can't officially respond to anything without my brain exploding, things look good! So yes, that's why I haven't been around/won't be around for a couple days here and there. See you guys soon! --------------------

In approximately 7 hours time (it is currently 9 at night...leaving at an ungodly hour to avoid boxing day traffic) my family and I will be leaving to drive to our holiday destination, approx ten or so hours away. And because I am a learner driver (yay...) I will probably be driving most of that way, at 80km/h max. So it might be a tad longer. And then, after that week in which there will be no internet access, we drive home for one night (in which I might be too dead to manage more than one post), and then we drive maybe five or so hours in the opposite direction for a wedding of a relative in the middle of nowhere, then drive a further six or so hours in another direction for another week of holidays, and then finally driving home. Doesn't really sound all that relaxing does it? SOOO, to cut things intensely short, even though by reading all this you've proved that you don't need/want it cut short, I will essentially be gone for the next two weeks, bar twelve hours in the middle of it, and anytime we stop at a mcdonalds and use the free wifi. While school is out, my exam schedule is more messed up than ever, hence the late date of my first one. Right now, I only have enough time to study for the second and third exams, maybe. I'm a bit of a workaholic and require days of intensive studying, lest my overall grade will suffer, I won't get a scholarship, no dorm for the next year yadda yadda. I'm particularly dreading the ones after the 30th, since it's VERY likely I'll fail. So activity will be sluggish, sans me departing for long. My last exam is on the 6th, but even coupled with me taking a couple of days afterwards to recharge my batteries, I shouldn't be away for long. Meanwhile, I'll be focusing on my studies and replying tomorrow to the PMs I've received (sorry for the wait, Pammy & Seth!), but just a heads up in terms of the swamped weeks ahead. So, starting later this afternoon, I'm of for a week with some friends, camping. I've been preparing for a few days now (aka - folding a paper crane with a piece of paper taller than me!!!!!!) So, until next monday/late sunday night I will be away, and then into my last week of my holidays, then back into school, so expect no activity from me for one week, a possible surge (if the various sub/main plots have moved on enough), and then a slow gradual decline to a steady flow. Sorry, I was supposed to post a few days ago that I'd be away and internet-less for a few days but I was staying with people who don't have broadband internet. The hell. It's kind of awkward asking to borrow someone's dial-up, not to mention frustrating. Anyway so I'm in Canberra now! I'll be back in Hobart tomorrow. I'm auditioning for a Master's degree today. There's been some stuff going on with my family that is a little less than pleasant, so I've been doing my best to make some time... and failing. On the bright side of life, my full-time work stint will be over at the end of next week, and I'm hoping that will breathe new life into me, because right now I'm feeling pretty dead. This isn't exactly a leave of absence, but I'm not available nearly as much as I should be. My life is kind of wonky right now, so here's hoping it'll go back to normal soon. Leaving for London via Bangkok tomorrow (Friday 19th February) and won't be back until Saturday 27th February. As they've just issued a serious travel warning for Bangkok, I probably won't be leaving the hotel, and will have time to post if necessary! I'll be in London in time for fashion week, and I've been advised by a friend to see if I can't get general admission or trade entry into one or two shows while I'm there (which sounds like fun) so I mightn't be online a whole lot there (we'll see how it goes!)
