The year is 2019. All three Potter children and their Weasley cousins are now Hogwarts students but aside from following their adventures, the RPG's plot also incorporates characters from crossover worlds such as Little Women, The Virgin Suicides, Chuck, Pushing Daisies, Dexter, True Blood, Weeds, Skins, 10 Things and many more. Prior knowledge of the crossover books and shows is unnecessary, as they are explained in our Crossover Characters Guide. Crossover characters can simply be treated like Original Characters by roleplayers who are unfamiliar with their personalities. All members need is a love for the Harry Potter universe, intermediate to advanced writing skills, a good attitude, and a willingness to integrate themselves into the RPG's tight-knit, friendly community.

This cavernous Entrance Hall with a wide marble staircase is lit with torches and candles. Grand, sturdy, double oak front doors face the West and lead to the castle grounds outside.

The Great Hall boasts enchanted ceilings which resemble the sky outside. Four long house tables are where Hogwarts students sit down for meals (the Slytherin table being closest to the door, followed by Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, and then Gryffindor). Staff eat at the high table raised on a platform at the front of the hall.

The library is on the Fourth Floor and contains thousands of books. A student requires a signed note of permission from a teacher in order to browse the Restricted Section at the back. Be quiet and do not eat in the library unless you wish to be thrown out by the librarian, Willow Rosenberg!

This magical room on the seventh floor cannot be found except by those in need. It then transforms into whatever the seeker requires of it. This room was the base of Dumbledore's Army, and Draco Malfoy while he repaired the vanishing cupboard and plotted Dumbledore's death.

The kitchens are located directly beneath the Great Hall and the two are equal in size. It is a cavernous room with a high ceiling, and walls covered with brass pots and pans. Here, house elves work to prepare meals for the entire school population. To enter the kitchen, one must locate a painting of a bowl of fruit in the dungeons. Tickle the pear and it giggles before becoming a door handle.

The Hospital Wing on the first floor contains many beds covered with white linen and separated by privacy screens. Cristina Yang, the school nurse, can also be found in her office here. The sick and injured recuperate in this room while at school.

The cold and drafty Owlery is located at the top of the West Tower. Here, the windows have no glass. Straw, owl droppings and regurgitated skeletons of rodents and voles litter the stone floor. Owls belonging to students and the school rest on numerous perches that rise to the top of the tower.

The Di Consentes wizarding wireless station is located in the North Tower, in a room formerly occupied by Professor Trelawney and her divination classes. The round station is divided into several areas: a cozy private office for the Station Manager, a general work space with cluttered desks for staff, a kitchenette, a small lounge area with a couch and large floor cushions, and a wireless broadcast studio filled with wizarding wireless equipment.

This is where school brooms for flying lessons are kept. Students' personal racing brooms are also stored here, along the opposite side of the cupboard to avoid mix-ups. There are Do-It-Yourself Broom Servicing Kits for anyone to use. A small corner has been designated for Filch's cleaning brooms and mops.

The lake is located to the South of the castle and is home to the giant squid, merfolk and grindylows (we also suspect fish). It is half a mile in diameter and contains icy cold water. As such, swimming is not a popular past time amongst Hogwarts students. The Lake Diving Club uses heating charms to keep themselves warm underwater.

The Forbidden Forest, to the East of Hogwarts, contains many dangerous and magical creatures including acromantulas, centaurs, unicorns, thestrals, and Fluffy the giant three-headed dog. Students are not allowed to enter unless accompanied by a teacher or for the purpose of a Care of Magical Creatures lesson.

The hut formerly known as Hagrid's has maintained its original hunting lodge atmosphere, though the new Groundskeeper, John Casey, has made extensive upgrades to the wizarding technology within. As Casey is an undercover Magical Law Enforcement Squad Colonel, his hut is also one of two secret entrances into 'The Castle' - not Hogwarts, but an underground Department of Magical Law Enforcement bunker. The Castle is a top secret Magical Law Enforcement bunker located underground. It is armed to the teeth with all the latest magical defense technology and Colonel John Casey's personal collection of Muggle guns, amongst other things. The Castle has 2 entrances: one in Casey's hut, and one in the wine cellar of the Come On Inn in Hogsmeade. For more details about its entrances, passwords and interior, click HERE. Only Headmistress McGonagall and those involved in Project Bartowski know of The Castle's existence.

All Hogwarts students must board the Hogwarts Express from this platform located at King's Cross station in order to get to school at the start of term. To get on this platform, one must run into the solid barrier between Platforms Nine and Ten, full tilt. A guard is stationed near the ticket booth to keep watch over the human traffic going through the barrier, preventing large hoards of witches and wizards from crossing it at the same time and alarming Muggles.

Diagon Alley can be accessed by tapping the correct brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron (three up, two across). Aside from the bustling shops and restaurants located here, street peddlers also roam the alley, selling their wares from carts and bags.
